2010 - 2011 School Year Days and Times Tuesdays and Thursdays 9am - 2pm 2010 - 2011 Fees and Tuition Registration Fee (non-refundable): $100 in February $120 beginning March 1st Tuition: $145 a month We will also be collecting one month's tuition deposit. School Calendar/Holidays The Chrysalis School is operated with a school calendar year similar to Humble Independent School District’s calendar. Except for the first and last days of school, we will follow the Humble ISD holiday and vacation calendar. The first day of school will begin 1 week after Humble ISD begins and will end the week before Memorial Day Weekend. The Parent's Day Out Program Our Parent's Day Out program is designed for the active two year old. We offer a wide variety of age- appropriate materials, equipment and activities that encourage the children to be active participants in their environment. A predictable but flexible routine allows the children to anticipate what activity will come next but allows for changes according to the children's needs. The Parent's Day Out teachers provide a loving Christian environment that will facilitate learning as well as encourage creative thinking and play. The Preschool Program Our preschool program is designed to meet the educational, social, and spiritual needs of the 3, 4, and 5 year old preschool child. We provide a Christian atmosphere and environment that is child-centered and hands-on: encouraging learning through play and discovery. Our classrooms are organized with learning centers that permit children to experiment and explore the world around them. "Specials" Library Time - Library time is once a week when a special story is read to the class and the children are allowed to check out books from our library. Chapel - Chapel is once a week with our pastor. It is a time for a bible story, songs, and a prayer. Kids In Action - We are delighted to have Kids In Action twice a month for movement and music programing. Enrollment Parent's Day Out - serves children who are twenty-four months by September 1st up to 36 months and not potty trained. There are 2 teachers to 8 children. Preschool - Three year olds - serves children three years old by September 1st. These children must be potty trained. There are 2 teachers to 14 students. Preschool - Four year olds - serves children four years old by September 1st. These children must be potty trained. There are 2 children to 16 students.
